Business Development Executive

We are looking for a resilient, empathic business development executive to contribute to the growth of our team. The BDE is responsible for finding and retaining sponsorship, data management, and improving processes along the way. To be successful as a business development executive, you will need to complete online training, attend networking events and be data and process-driven. Ultimately, your role as an outstanding BDE will keep a close eye on partnership feedback and campaigns to ensure that our team's efforts and partnership opportunities consistently exceed expectations and produce incredible ROI.


  • Familiarize yourself with the entire partnership journey and learn and apply all the training materials provided
  • Procuring new partners throughout reach, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing team
  • Work closely with partnership decision-makers
  • Attend networking activities to research and connect with prospective partners
  • Create processes and maintain to build meaningful relationships with existing partners to reduce partnership churn rates
  • Collaborate and craft proposals and agreements to ensure expectations meet the spirit of each contract
  • Negotiate with partners to secure mutually beneficial agreements at varying levels
  • Capture, track, and measure data
  • Review partner feedback and implement necessary changes
  • Work directly with marketing to create engaging campaigns to meet partners' needs and drive ROI
  • Drive business development through data tracking of the entire partnership journey and develop processes to improve outreach and close rates
  • Work directly with key stakeholders and third-party agencies


  • Experience in marketing, business administration, or similar
  • Sales experience showing proven examples of driving growth with high response rates on outreach and high close rates
  • Email copy and design experience using Mailchimp or other third-party email management platforms
  • Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
  • Ability to identify partner pain points and work directly with the marketing team to suggest suitable and mutually beneficial partner campaigns
